Positive Self Image


Developing a positive self image is critical to achieving personal success. Practicing positive attitudes,behaviors and communication will certainly assist you in achieving a positive outlook on the way you perceive yourself and others. This facilitates you developing your confidence and self esteem, which will propel your personal development to newer heights.

By working from the inside out, you cause a positive reflection of the way you think and feel. You will learn to appreciate your worth, therefore, training you to dismiss the barriers that can hinder you from being your best. Improving your self image may not come naturally and like mastering most skills, it will take time and practice.

Here is a list of habits that will equip you to develop a positive self image:

  • Read and listen to a lot of self development literature
  • Use affirmation, empowering, positive self talk throughout the day
  • See the best in yourself, imagine and visualize your success
  • View problems as opportunities, find the silver lining
  • Associate yourself with confident, mentoring, optimistic, positive, successful individuals
  • Develop your discipline, act, speak and think positively about both your mental and physical health
  • Enhance your appearance
